Different ways of thinking, perspectives and plans for a smarter city and for citizens who are now more aware of how computers can change the way they relate to their own city: this is the topic of discussion for the “Smart City” workshop.

With this first meeting we will describe the projects currently implemented by the City of Trento and the rest of the Trentino region. We will try to understand the synergistic actions between city and region that are required to make both of them “smarter”.

We will then discuss the prospects in this field for research companies, and the contribution that they can bring. Finally, we will compare our findings with what is happening outside our region.
