Our approach has been to involve all stakeholders from the start, through interviews, field studies, questionnaires, focus groups and other techniques. This ensures that services offered to users are the ones they really need and that a core community of users is implicated in the design and development from the start.
Smart Campus uses semantic technologies to enhance user content organizing, tagging, searching, sharing, discovering friends and more. For example, when searching for something the user can find results that are from words with a similar meaning (like “dog” and “canine”). This semantic technology is being constantly improved to give better results and offer new services to the Smart Campus platform.
